The monthly meeting of the ' Levin Young Farmers' Cinb' Was ' held: recently, the chairman, Rfr. Kilshy presiding over a good aftend- ■ ance. Apologies were redeived from Messrs. Gimblett, Denton and , P6npy. The Chairman cdngratuiated the club's seven-a-side football tea'm dn Winning the district tonrnameht. A social committee was formed tb arrange an evening welcome to the visiting teams which are to play ln the Young Farmers' Clubs' Council tournament on Wednesday ndxt a't Rugby Park. At the conclusion of business, Mr. J. A. Mitchell gave an- int'eresting address on fat lamb production, for which he was heartily thanked'. Early in the month club members visited the Levin Dairy Company's factory' and pi'ggery., In the after-. noon they were conducted over Mr.. Prouse's farm by Mr. Prouse, who gave a very constructlve commentary on growing trees for timber and gen'eral farih' use.
