N.Z. Conversion Loan Was Failure
LONDON, July 15. Approximately 53 per cent. of tlie i £16,000,000 New Zealand coiiversion loan has been taken np by the Reserye Eank of New Zealand, meaning that the cash and' conversion applications together amounted to rather less than £8,000,000. This is a disappointing result, says The Times' city editor, even ■ allowing for the market conditions which were not particularly propitious for the issue.
