DID THE "SON OF GOD" EXIST BEFORE THE INCARNATION? There is "One God" but there are three persons in "the Godhead, "God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit," all working in perfeet harmony, just as "The Church" is one, but many members. Christ said in John 8:58, I Before Abraham was "I am." Then j in John 1:1-3, He is the Creator. Reader, the theory that the "Son j of ,God" did not exist before the "Incarnation" is a fable, and is the first sign of evil doctrine, for to deny the pre-existence of the "Son of God" is to deny the "Deity of Christ." The first verse in the Bible, Gen. 1:1, is a death blow to that theory, viz., In the beginning "God" (Heb., Elohim, plural) ; then in Gen. 1:26, God said "Let us make man." Reader, if Christ was not "God manifest in flesh," then His death was in vain, and the sinner ! dQomed,, but because .Christ was the sinless, spotless, eternal Son of God, the believing sinner is eternally secure. John 8:24, If ye be- ' lieve not that "I am He," ye shall I die in your sins.
BIBLE TRUTH Concerning Bible Prophecies And Jesus Christ ■ Why do many think Jesus was alive with God before Creation when the prophetic Psalm 22, which quotes the words he would speak, verse 1; what his enemies would say, verses 7-8; "what the Roman soldiers would do, verses ! 16-18; all at Jesus' crucifixion; also says "Thou (God) art He that took Me out of the womb . . . Thou art My God from My mother's body," verses 9-10? As all these prophecies of Jesus came true 4,000 years after Creation; as God the Creator was "God of Jesus from His mother's body," or birth of Mary, Luke 1:31-5; and not before; how could Jesus have existed as a person before, How could Jesus have always existed as a person when Psalm 72 prophecies of the things He will do in future; and starts with the request that God would give Him "judgments" and "righteousness," all after David's time, about 3,000 years after Creation? Free literature setting forth Bible Truth in contrast to the fables of Christendom, gladly sent to any address on application to H. W. Christie, McDonald Road, Levin.
