Women's Section Of R.S.A.
The usual monthly meeting of the Women's Section of the Shannon Returned Services' Association was held in Laurvig's Hall last Saturday evening. Mrs. C. Gueriii presided over a fair attendance of members. After the completiom of formal, .business, a navel competition^ wa£heid a'nd resulted ;in Mrs. QUlhlali being placed first, with4 Mrs. --fenell second and Mrs. Guerin third. The usual monthly bloom competition was conducted and the results weye: Mrs. Third 1, Mrs. Guerin 2 and Mrs. GJtuinlan 3. The competition for a baby's knitted bonnet was won by Mrs. Sell, with Mrs. Third and Mrs. Quinlan equal for second. The competition for next month's meeting will be something new from something old. The evening concluded by the ladies entertaining the menfolk at supper.
