Reuter 's Athens eorrespondent says a Government eomimniique reportea for the first time a xuccessful "mass air attack" on the Greek guerrilla troops' positions on Mount Grammas and the Pindus'mountains. It added that fierce fighting was going on in Maeedonia where Government troops killed 43 rebels and captured 12. Mo rrars and macliineguns from the Yugoslav border- fired on Greek troops on the northern sector. The Assoeiated Press eorrespondent says reports state that Government troops are moving westward in a major offensive with air and artillerv support on a 40-mile line from the Albanian border to Grevena.
