FIRST CASE AT NAPIER.
NAPIER, Jan. 29. The first case of infantile paralysis in -Hawlce's Bay has beeii notified to the District Medieal Officer of Health (Dr. T. C. Lonie) at' Palmerston North. The patient is a two and a half-year-old boy, who has been diagnosed as positive and admitted to the Napiet Public." Hospital.' This b.rings the number of positive cases in the WellingtonHawke's Bay health district to threw. There are two patients in hospital at Wanganui.
