BOWLING TOURNAMENT
, The weekend proved most suitable for bowling and the tourna-| ;ment held by the Otaki- Railway Club was very successfui; no Jess t-han sixteen rinks participating, several being from a distance. The green was in good order, and gamis were - keenly contested. i The, final was between Logan (Eastbourne) and Symonds (OtakiRailway). The latter won on ihe last head with his final bowl. His assdCiateS wero- Hart, Ralph and A. D. Webster. . Games resulted: Logan and •Symonds four each; Merwood, Wardrop., Rolfe and Childs three each; Bailey, Booth, Faulkner and Grey two each; Henderson, Reid, Field and Fletcher one each; Olliver and Milne nil. The next tournament will • be held on Sunday, 'commencihg at 10.30 a.m. Competitions were won by Blackwood, M. Ferguson and J. Connor. The Railway green will not be open for play except on Saturday s and Sundays., . ,
