OTAKI STATE SCHOOL
OLD PUPILS' REUNION The annual reunion dance held by the Old Pupils' Association took piace at the Railway Hall on Friday night, when, despite very inclement weather, there was an attendance of about 300. Those present spent a most enjoyable evening, dancing gaily to the bright musie of Arthurs' orchestra from Wellington. Two extras. one by Mrs. Tews and the other by Mr. Baird, were grearly appreciateu. The supper arrangements were in the exceilent hands of a ladies committee, who worked most energetically,' denying themselves much pleasure to ensure the success of this part of the evening's enjoyment. Mr. Bunny Carkeek was a most able M.C., while in Mr. H. Taylor (chair'man) and Mr. Ray Bills (honorary secretary) the .committee has two of the finest workers that could be desired. Both laboured faithfully and had ihe support of other members of the committee.
