MOTORISTS GIVEN A WARNING Lashed up by the southerly gale on Friday night and Saturday, heavy seas at Waitarere Beach swirled round the southern end of the wreck of the Hyderabad and washed out a steep bank, which extends for a considerable distknce round high .water mark. To the motorist apnroaching the Hyderabad from the Waitarere side the "bank passes unnoticed until it is tdo late to be avoided. The danger this bank creates to the motorist was shown yesterday - afternoon when a light car turned over on its side there. This had hardly been accomplished when another light car had a lucky escape. The bank is three feet high in places.
