(Per Press Telegram Agency.), 1 This day. Robbing a Letter Box The Otago Times' letter box at the Post Office was opened by a duplicate key on Saturday night and letters containing money abstracted from it. A number of envelopes and pieces of a cheque were found in [the gntter yesterday. Some of the chequeshave been recovered. The police have obtained a good cine. The offender is mpposed to be a person lately discharged, and at the same time one of the keys of the letter box was Present from Sir George Grey. Sir George Grey has given the Acclimatisation Society here twenty brace of quails, They are expected by the Wellington to-morrow.
